Flower Ovary - The flower ovary is one of a plant's female reproductive organs. It's usually located at the base of a flower and holds ovules (the flower's eggs). Upon fertilization, the ovules develop into seeds and the ovary matures into a fruit. Roses have particularly prominent ovaries.
